About Me –

My name is Mike Morrow, and I am a California mortgage loan officer with a background in financial services. I help homebuyers, homeowners, and real estate investors understand their financing options and make informed decisions about one of their most important financial commitments.

Whether you are purchasing your first home, refinancing an existing mortgage, financing an investment property, looking for a second opinion after being declined, or exploring options such as VA, FHA, Conventional, Jumbo, Non-QM, or Reverse Mortgage loans, I am committed to making the financing process simple and stress-free. Every recommendation is focused on finding the right solution for your unique situation. My goal is to clearly explain important considerations such as qualification requirements, estimated monthly payments, down payment and closing costs, interest-rate options, and the steps involved in completing a mortgage.

Eligible California homebuyers may qualify for CalHFA assistance with down payment and closing costs. Eligibility can depend on factors such as income, first-time-homebuyer status, property occupancy, homebuyer education, program guidelines, and the availability of funds.

I also work with real estate investors who may benefit from DSCR loan programs. Rather than qualifying primarily through personal employment income and personal tax returns, a DSCR loan may allow an investor to qualify based largely on the rental income and expected cash flow of the investment property. Credit, assets, reserves, property qualifications, and other underwriting requirements may still apply.

Earlier in my financial services career, I worked in Wells Fargo’s Private Client Services division, where I assisted clients with financial-planning matters involving estates and trusts, retirement, investments, and insurance. I also worked for Bank of America as a customer relationship manager, helping homeowners explore home-retention strategies, including loan modifications for mortgages retained in the bank’s portfolio.

My financial services experience helps me look beyond the loan itself and understand how a mortgage may fit into a client’s broader financial goals. I believe borrowers deserve clear explanations, responsive communication, and an honest discussion of both the potential benefits and tradeoffs of each loan option.

Contact me for a personalized mortgage review and a straightforward explanation of the options that may be available based on your finances, property, and goals.
